Overview of Ffarquhar yard. The left-most line is the line to Anopha stone quarry (this crosses Ulfstead Road where the board ends), next comes the loco shed and carriage shed, then the station itself.

"Bill" stands with a train of four-wheeled coaching stock on the quarry line, while "Thomas" is on shed and 276 waits with Mk 1 coaching stock, "Annie and Clarabel". "Daisy", the replacement 142 DMU is waiting for its next turn of duty.

Hopefully there will be a crossover at the end of the platform for the loco to run around onto the back road.

"Bill", in the livery of the Sodor China Clay company. He is on trial here at Ffarquhar while "Percy" is away aiding "Bill's" twin, "Ben", at Brendam.

The famous tank engine himself, "Thomas", in ex-works condition, with curved running boards at front and rear (a quick appointment with the stationmaster's house will soon sort that out!)

Caley 276 is the current station pilot of Ffarquhar, and "Daisy" the Donkey is used for peak time commuter services, to and from Knapford Junction.

Trackplan of the full Ffarquhar branch. The main branch runs as follows - Knapford Junction-Dryaw-Toryreck Junction-Toryreck-Elsbridge-Hackenbeck-Ffarquhar. The harbour branch runs from Toryreck Junction-Dryaw Goods-Knapford Harbour and the quarry line runs from Ffarquhar-Anopha Quarry.

...and is shunted into the run-round loop.

Bill with a loaded stone train comes in past the cutting wharf...

...and propels back into the run-round loop.

Thomas leaves with the first "down" passenger train of the morning...

...with Milk Van attached to the rear.

The workers' train comes back out of the yard...

...and the stock, "Henrietta" and "Elsie" are left by the signalbox on the main...

...only to be collected by Bill...

...who returns to the quarry.

276 goes into the loop to collect the loaded stone train...

...and heads off to Knapford Harbour, via the harbour (goods only) branch.

Daisy comes off-shed.

And waits for the commuter traffic to Knapford and Tidmouth.

Diesel goes into the goods siding to collect the wagons...

...which then go into the run-round loop.

Daisy leaves and crosses Thomas at Elsbridge.

Diesel leaves with the general goods for Knapford harbour.

Thomas runs around the stock, "Annie" and "Clarabel".

Bill returns, light engine and waits for the return of the empty wagons.

276 comes back from the harbour with the wagons, having crossed Diesel at Toryreck.

276 goes on-shed and Bill then steams onto the wagons.
